Started in 1990, SciTech Services, Inc. (SciTech) is an award winning small business strategically headquartered in Havre de Grace, MD. SciTech employs over 80 people and provides Scientific, Engineering, and Management Solutions to DoD customers primarily in Chemical/Biological Research Development, Directed Energy Technology, Demilitarization, Target Defeat Technology Support and Energetic Materials Research.
Demonstrated Experience and Expertise
Specializing in Research, Development, and Test and Evaluation (RDTE) that spans the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives (CBRNE) arena, SciTech has demonstrated expertise in chemical munitions research, chemical agent analytical processes, monitoring, safety, demilitarization, testing and training. More recently, SciTech has extended its expertise into the area of demilitarization of conventional munitions and energetics/explosives research and development.
SciTech has extensive experience successfully supporting the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) and, more specifically, the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) in areas encompassing CBRNE technology, engineering and operations programs. As a prime contractor to ECBC’s Research and Technology Directorate and Engineering Directorate, SciTech has supported areas spanning technical, scientific, engineering, programmatic and administrative efforts. SciTech’s support has included work focused on analytical laboratory quality assurance, testing, verification and validation; computer-aided engineering support; modeling and simulation; systems engineering; target defeat technology development; and, analytical laboratory support.
